Okay, in a recent release of information, KFC said they were coming out with the Chicken Little, who’s ears perked up? Who’s eyes got big? Who’s stomach instantly got hungry? This person did, for a moment.
To here KFC describe it in their own words:
Chicken Littles feature a freshly-breaded Extra Crispy Strip™ sandwiched in a sweet bun topped with pickle slices and KFC’s signature Colonel’s Mayo.
The new and improved Chicken Littles pay homage to the brand’s chicken sliders of the same name from years past.
This is where it begins to bother me, it is nothing like the Chicken sliders of the same name from years past, here is a picture of what the chicken little used to look like that I remember as a high school kid growing up.
And this is what it looks like now?
Its not the same. Not even close. While it may pay homage to it per KFC, I think it is dishonoring the classic that we all grew up to love and know. If you have never had the opportunity or the pleasure of having the classic chicken little, I am sorry and do feel bad that you missed out. But calling a crunchy coated chicken tender on a bigger bun, a chicken little in my opinion, was wrong, and just insulting to all of us who knew the goodness of the original.

I guess I live under a rock because even though we occasionally had KFC when we were kids, I never heard of the Chicken Little! These days I stay away from KFC because of the awful practices their chicken suppliers use.
They got rid of it again anyways, you didn’t miss anything!
To be honest, I have not had KFC in some time as my cholesterol is high and I should not be having anything fried. I had not heard about the chicken little and I am kind of glad.
Like I said the new chicken little, which I think they have discontinued, was nothing compared to the old one of the 80’s. It was just a different time. @KFC #KFC
I was so disappointed to see this ill attempt to recreated the original. I used To get a bag of twenty and rent a movie, 1987 was great.
