Lego’s are not just for kids anymore. We love Lego’s in our house We have a nice collection of items that we hope to set up like a small city one day, kind of like if you were to set up a model railroad system on a large table.
This is one of my favorite new sets that is out, the LEGO CITY Helicopter Rescue – 4429 which you can get for yourself when you click the link, I already have one, and sorry, you can’t have mine! 🙂 While Lego’s in general are geared towards kids, there are some sets that might even give the average adult a run for their money, and nostalgia like the LEGO Creator Fire Brigade 10197 seen below.
Now if you are a die hard lego fan, one who is up for a challenge, one that when you finally get finished will have a product that will be a little over 4 feet long, it is one of Lego’s biggest released projects they have done, the LEGO Star Wars Super Star Destroyer 10221 which you can see a picture of below. This huge set has a whopping 3152 individual pieces, and take it from my wife and I, that is allot of pieces! and one heck of a challenge, but what you end up with could be a display of art as well.
To get you in the mood for Halloween, they also have a new series called Monster Fighters, and as you can see in the slideshow below, there are some amazing ones including a Haunted House, which we have on order now, but from the picture below, you can see how amazing it is, but if you want any of the ones you see in the slideshow, just click the image inside the box, and it will take you where you can get them from amazon.
I also have a folder over on Pinterest called All Things Lego which showcases some of what I shared here, along with other amazing pictures of self created pieces of art, and amazement for you to see.
So what Lego sets or designs do you like the most? Did you ever play with Lego’s, does anyone in your family? Would love to know your thoughts, and experiences with the Lego Brand. Disclaimer: I was in no way endorsed or compensated for this post by Lego or any other company, these views and opinions are of my own, and I am sharing with you, my feelings about a product that I hold true to my heart! We are still on the hunt to finish a few Lego Creations we missed due to not finding them, or price, but everyday we let it bring out the kid in us, and that’s ok! As always, I thank you for reading, please share if you enjoyed the article, and have a great day! Tom.

How FUN!! I love Legos, too! I used to build, deconstruct and then build again… all the time! I miss them 🙁 I think this calls for me to go buy some Legos! What a great reminder… Thanks, Tom!

My son is almost Lego age…. It will be easier to explain why we have so many Lego and Kreo Sets Lying around…You know we just HAD to buy the Transformers Kreo the real reason because we wanted the Transformer figures…the reason we tell people they are for our son when he gets a bit older
Tom Shewbridge says
I know, I have the Ratchet one from Kreo being a Paramedic, but that will be good for him to have in a few years. Thanks for your comment, thanks for stopping by, hope to see you here again! Have a nice day!

So yeah, have kept them from all the kids and love them because I remember all the fun they had building, fighting over them, rebuilding, etc. that I just have to keep ’em if not for my grandchildren (because my hubby would really like to see me get rid of__________(fill in the blank). If not my grandkids, I give ’em to my children : ) again. : )

Well, I am glad they are going to the next generation, I would of course myself love to have them, but I thank you so much for the post, and the wonderful little share, have a great day, thanks for stopping by!
