I was thinking about this more today than most days, but I found myself asking where does the time go sometimes? I am not someone who is fearful of time, I am often jealous of it, but I don’t fear it. What got me thinking of it, was that while this year in October my wife and I will have been married for 11 years, and we have known each other for 12.
The thing of it is , I wish I could have met her sooner though! It took years of mis-matched relationships to finally find that one that truly was meant to be mine. But as I remind her, we have our best days ahead of us yet! So I do remind everyone, to live for the days that you have, the day you are in, and look forward to the days you will have together! While remembering what you did in the past is important, and you learn from it, don’t let the past rule your life, it should be the present day, and the hopes of tomorrow that strengthen who you are!
It carries over to other things too, last year I decided to hang up my boots for the last time as a Paramedic, one of the hardest decisions I had to make. The time flew by, before I knew it, I got to a point where the injuries started to keep me from performing my job, and I had to decide to given in and realize a new chapter needed to be started, and that folks is this site, A Medic’s World. This is my present, this is my future, and I am glad that you are here, and I hope you want to stick around to see where this adventure is going. I have enjoyed having everyone here, but I want others to know about me as well, so please share so that time does not pass them by for not having known me.
As always, have a great day, thanks for stopping by, would love to hear your comments, or thoughts. Remember to smile!
