We have a local restaurant not to far from our house, formerly known as Steve Dakota’s Grill in Medina Ohio they are now known as Timber Lodge. You can check out the review I did for them prior to changing over here. We recently ate here about a week ago, and I wanted to share the experience with you.
Timber Lodge is an excellent choice if you are looking for a warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, fabulous entrees, and decadent desserts. You can find their main website here. My review of them hasn’t changed much, they were fantastic all around, even though the name changed, much of the menu has stayed the same, and in this case is a good thing, as the quality of the food is superb! They did add a selection of chicken, and pasta dishes that they may have not had before the change.
They have a wide array of choices, from ribs, burgers, steak, seafood, pasta, and chicken, they also have a small selection of salads, and special days like the Sunday Brunch, and the following on Saturdays!
Did I mention the desserts? Oh my goodness, one they are huge, very big portions for reasonable prices. Secondly they are delicious, the hand made brownie delight (my favorite) is just a sinful way to end the meal, and all I have to say is that you have to try it to believe it for yourself!
Service is top notch, the entire staff if wonderful, the manager kindly greets the guests and ensures your stay and meal are up to the standards that you expect. I want to give a special recognition to our server. Her name was Lynsey. Lynsey was polite, carried a great smile, was knowledgeable about the menu, was able to suggest great options, and was just very pleasant to have as our server. One thing I truly enjoy personally is that she had a British accent. It just added a unique flair to the experience, and when we return, we will be asking for her again in the future. So a personal thank you to Lynsey.
We love the restaurant, we love the food, we love the staff, I simply could go just for the dessert and be happy. You can also find them on Facebook So check them out! Great food, great ambiance, great night out. Kim was fantastic as our waitress to top off a great night. We never had to search for her, and she seemed to know what we wanted before we did. We will be back for the prime rib and we will ask for Kim.

Our very first time @ TimberLodge. Went on line last night and saw a good review about Lynsey one of the waitresses. So decided to do “call ahead seating” as we left the house (30 minutes away) and asked to have Lynsey. When we got there, the most pleasant hostess Jessica seated us. Lynsey was the BEST waitress we have ever had. The food was remarkable, drinks excellent, prices good. Ron, the owner, was present all evening and he stopped by and we talked about how much we enjoyed our dinner. To top everything off, we had a nice conversation with the couple across the aisle from us who were also celebrating their 40th Anniversary. They had been coming here for years and had many good things to say. They left just as our dinner was served. So to our amazement, when it was dessert time, two large
pieces of cake were delivered by Lynsey with a note from the other couple wishing us the best!

LOVE this place, I can not say enough ! Great Happy Hours, Huge Burgers, Great steaks, freshest seafood around Medina,Tenderlicious Prime Rib, and dessertys to die for ! Try their smores. You never leave hundry or disappointed

The decor is just beautiful, I would love to go there. I live in Northwest PA so i’m wondering how far away I am. The spinach artichoke burger sounds yummy!
It is a gorgeous place, well it is about 2 hours from Erie I would guess. Not sure if that will help. Have a great day!
Looks like a great place to have a nice steak! I love the rustic look and the fireplace is just crazy, I want one for my house! lol
They have one outside as well. There are benches there, sometimes they get busy in the colder weather, people might have to wait, makes waiting a little warmer!
I love to eat at local restaurants – their food portions are large enough for a doggy bag and those deserts are big and lucious. I am getting hungry reading your review.
