As a Paramedic, and someone who always loves learning new things, I truly love getting the chance to review great medical apps for the iOS. So here was my chance to review ArchieMD 3D Health: Anatomy and Health Essentials, a program that features some amazing animations and videos.
What you get in this app is some very educational and informative videos of different medical procedures that you or a loved one might have to go through, based on subjects like Heart/Cardiac, Skin Disorders, Gastro/Intestinal, and more.
In addition to all the informative videos, what really makes this app shine is its Interactive 3D Body, with functions you would find in way more expensive software found elsewhere. With the ability to view the whole body and take parts away, or view the individual systems in their parts. When you click on a part/muscle/vein/nerve it tells you which one it is, and allows you to add notes as you go along. The body turns around so you can see all sides of anatomy in question, and with the ability to zoom in, and remove certain sections to see what it is you are wanting to learn, it is quite amazing the amount of information in this app.
This app is designed for EMT’s, Paramedics, Nurses, Physicians, Students, and even members of other fields like Physical Therapy, and more. My thoughts on the app?, I am simply amazed at the ability of the 3D Interactive Body part of it, it is easy to use, very informative, and educational for the price you are paying for the app. While there are a few videos on the variety of subjects for procedures and medical conditions, I continue to hope with updates that more will be added. Still after this I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I was thankful for the chance to review it. If you would like to get your own copy, you can get it by pressing the button below.

This sounds like it would be a very interesting app. I think there would even be some people like teachers that could use this.
