Only one post for today. This one. Today my wife and I celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary. 11 years. Wow. We crossed the decade point. It has been an amazing run, and looking forward to seeing what the years ahead of us bring.
You travel through life meeting all sorts of people, some are just friends, some are crushes with the feelings not returned, some are intimate friends, and some are boyfriends/girlfriends that you might date. But that one true love, the one you find that finally competes who you are, sometimes that’s hard to find! But with patience, and perseverance I found Michelle. I often describe people as “Atoms” of energy floating in space. And all this time we are hoping to find that other “Atom” that is compatible with us, I found that in Michelle. So now we are one cohesive nucleus, that no other “Atom” can break.
Time together that we have had so far, has presented its challenges and its rewards. We have striven to always “listen” to one another, and not allow ourselves to forget why we are together in the first place. I think I can count on one hand the true arguments or fights we have had, why? because we sit down and talk it out, and then when we reach a solution or understanding, we both bubble it, and let it float into the air!
To us, its the little things that matter the most. If she runs her hand through my hair, or makes me the perfect grilled cheese sandwich, we try not to let the big things get in our way.
So Michelle, this post is dedicated to you. I love you more than love can be expressed. I would go to the ends of the universe if it meant saving you. I will always commit myself to trying to better your life, day by day. You are my “atom”, my rock, the light that guides me, and my true “soul-mate” . I love you, thank you for being mine, and seeing in me something that keeps you with me! 🙂
