I remember when I was going through my Paramedic classes, I ate a lot of Ramen back then, and sure wish I had a product like this to use. Talk about making things easier, it also serves as a fantastic reminder of a little ingenuity at work.
I originally saw this product on “Shark Tank”, a TV show on ABC that features investors that might get behind products or services that people who come on the show pitch to them. This was one of those said products. I thought it was such a cool idea myself, that I asked to see if I might be able to review it, and share the results with all of you. I was given a product for free to sample and review, however the opinions and thoughts are my own, and not influenced in any way.
So how does it work? Well you place your dry ramen inside the specially sized container, fill it with water to the fill line, and microwave! That is it, not boiling water on the stove, no worrying about overfilling another sized container with too much water and taking longer for it to cook in the microwave. This product solves all of that. You can see some of that in the pictures below.
So my impression of it? What do I think? I think it is something the whole family could use for one, secondly I do think it decreases the time it would take to cook, because you are only heating the right amount of water you need, and thirdly it serves to be a self contained bowl as well, perfect to eat from!
It has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon, and I give it 5 out of 5 stars myself, it fills a void for something easy to use to cook ramen, for all ages, and situations. In addition to being a good addition to your household, this would make an excellent gift idea as well.
Where to buy?
So I want to thank the fine folks over at Rapid Ramen Cooker for allowing me to do this review, also check them out on Twitter and Facebook as well, so do yourself a favor and check them out. They have also allowed me to give a couple away, look for that giveaway in a separate post. Thanks for taking time to read this review, please leave some comments if you have tried this product or seen in on “Shark Tank”.

I’ve bought ramen in disposable containers from the Japanese market we frequent and while I love the ease and efficiency, I try my best to be as green as possible, and even though I recycle the containers, I know it’s not the most ecologically-friendly method of making ramen. I’d love to try these – they look like they have the ease and efficiency of the packaged ramen containers, but are reusable so definitely more green.
