I currently don’t have an aquarium but really do want one, my biggest fear? Keeping it clean. Not keeping your aquarium clean can lead to your wonderful fish dying, and nobody wants that, right?
There is a Kickstarter campaign going on right now to try to bring this unique project to homes everywhere! It’s called the EcoQube. They are running the campaign till January 12th, 2014, they could use some support!
So how would you feel about teaching the young ones, or teens about preserving our Planet and learning about the way it can be done and have something beautiful in the process. This does not mean it has to be used in an educational way, but in addition to it, it can be its own art piece that you create.
You can see in the picture below, how the process would work. The heart of the EcoQube is the aquaponics filter which uses plants, the world’s best and most natural filter, to keep your aquarium clean.
So what can you do to help make this project happen? Visit the Kickstarter page for the project here, and help make a donation towards its future! With your help, learning what we can do to make a difference, along with the ability to teach our young minds, and having the beauty of a self-sustained system, this project needs your help!
I am hoping to have an opportunity to review this once the final product comes out, so stay tuned for that as well! So how do you think this would work well in a classroom, or for those who are home schooled? What could businesses learn from techniques like this? What could you do to make a difference? Share your thoughts below, would love to know!

This product looks interesting – I wonder whether it would be easy to put together…I am not very good with building directions.

Hi Maria,
I think it would be, some of the work would be you growing the plants or herbs used for the filtration, otherwise I think it would have pretty straight forward step by step instructions!
If you know anyone that might be interested in this, would love if you share!
