We have two adopted sons and when making their life books this would be so helpful in researching their birth and adoptive family tree lines. Also, when researching our genealogy lines this would be so helpful in getting the information from the micro-fish films and the old census books. I have all the information from my great-great grandparents. I have several containers of pictures, news stories, files, and other information. I would be honored to be the winner of this tool to use daily to organize our family information for our 5 children.

My dad who is 88 years old has tons of old family photos. He also collects historic photos in his hometown and people give him pictures, which he saves in notebooks. Occasionally he’ll make a DVD of the pictures which involves putting them on an easel with a plain background, adjusting the lighting, taking a picture with his camera, and then putting the pictures onto his computer. The Flip Pal Mobile Scanner System would be the perfect gift for him because it would simplify the process.
We have boxes and boxes of pictures we have been wanting to scan — this seems like a great tool to do that!
