Staying in contact with a student mobile plan for your young ones at middle and high school, or those going off to College doesn’t have to be an expensive venture that doesn’t allow communications with them, when they are most important. Let me share my story with how to make it more convenient and economical with all of you.
I love visiting Southpark Mall in Strongsville, Ohio which is about 12 minutes away from my house. It is a great mall with lots of major department stores, and all the basic shops you can find at most malls. While walking through the mall on my way to visit my Best Buy Mobile Specialty Store, I had to willingly admit I took a small break to stop at Auntie Anne’s Pretzels to smell and take a look, I didn’t buy any, but I wanted too! (if you don’t have one of these near you, you are missing out, they are so good!). Our mall is quite beautiful during the Holidays, filled with lights, good holiday cheer, and lots of things to buy! Sometimes too many things to buy! Window Shopping is one of my favorite things to do, but finding great deals for gifts and presents is even better! Having the convenience of a Best Buy Mobile Specialty Store in the mall is a plus, because you can do the majority of all your shopping all in one place!
So I got to the store, walked inside, and was surprised at the selection of products they had of mobile phones, tablets, and cool new gadgets. I was greeted by Shaun who was taking care of another customer at the time but said he would be right with me. While Shaun was still with the other customer, I was able to speak with Jordan, who became free to talk to me, and I came to find out that he was the Store Manager.
In addition to all the accessories and cases they have for all the products they sell, we got to the subject of discussing mobile phone services for Students who are in school, or going off to College. Wow! I never knew shopping could be so easy, especially at Christmas. I think its a wonderful idea to offer phones to students that are within their means. I’ve heard horror stories from plenty of young adults about getting their phone shut off regularly. I think it does defeat the purpose.

Great info for the future. My kids are a bit young yet and sadly there is no best buy near where I live or work (I know it’s terrible!) but this could come in handy in the future.

My kids are grown with kids of their own. Our eldest granddaughter is going to college in the spring. I know she already is on a family plan, but I don’t know with what provider.

We have Sprint and we love our plan, the customer service is great, but the reception is not always the best. I hope they keep branching out and getting more towers so I can use my service anywhere

My daughter is out of college now for about 4 years. I don’t know if they had it when she was still in school, but I sure wish I had known about it if they did. It sounds like you really do save money and when you have a child in college you really need to save money!
This is a big debate in my house as my 13 year old needs a phone for all his school.sports things that he goes to. I spend sooo much maintaining that phone that half way through the month it gets shut off! I didn’t know about this program so I thank you very much! it is something I am now going to look into it!
