Loot Crate – Monthly Subscription Box for Geeks Review

This is my first experience ever getting to open a themed subscription box.  I have seen other people talking about ones based on food, wine, babies and others that had specific themes. When I was looking around the web, and saw there was one with a “geek” theme in mind I said, that is something I can get behind.

So when I was able to review the following subscription box from the fine folks over at Loot Crate, I was excited to see what I might get.  It is like a Christmas Present every month, you never know what you are going to get.

So how does it work?  Well, you sign up for a subscription plan.  You can choose how you want to do it by picking a Month by Month Plan starting at $13.37, or 3 or 6 months at a time.  S&H is only $6 per month no matter which plan you pick. If you choose the 3 month plan you will save $3, and if you choose the 6 month plan you will save $10.

My March Crate was centered around the hit game that just came out:  Titanfall.

I even got 2 pieces of Salt Water Taffy!  So what do I think about the box?  I think it is a great idea for any geek/gadget lover who wants to be surprised every month with something that fits who they are.  This would also make an excellent gift idea for that person in your life that you can’t think of what to get them.  So where do you get your own Loot Crate, grab yours here.  Also check them out on Facebook, and Twitter.
