When I see products, sometimes I get the notion of what if you could use that for this? and that is the way I think most of the time. I really try to think outside of the box, and find useful alternatives to items that might not be discussed by the manufacturer or advertising.
So we are talking about the VRUM here today, and yes, it is designed with children in mind, but like anyone who really knows me, that doesn’t stop me! So let’s talk about it’s original use, which is a themed storage container that can have a child ride it like a scooter, or it can be pulled with the handy storage handle. Fantastic Idea! Keep the kids entertained at the airport, checking in at the hotel, all good things right? I totally agree, what kid would want to be seen riding this around, or being pulled on it, knowing all their little toys and games were conveniently packed inside this amazing ride on toy? I know if I was still a kid, I would so want to do that.
So yes, I was able to get one of these to review from Wicked Cool Toys, opinions are definitely mine, and just check out what I found below. In addition to kids getting to use it, where do adults come in, keep reading!
If you are a geek like me, and there are not many like me, trust me, you will see that I love anything comic related, or things that look just plain cool. When I saw one of these for the first time, I said, now there is an object that fits both, its comic related, and it’s, say it with me, “Just Plain Cool!”.
So I am going to break this down into two parts, Kids and Adult Uses. Simple Huh?
Children:
- Can be used to ride and store toys, and also use as a piece of luggage to carry clothes, and a couple of must have items.
- They can ride it while at the Airport, Hotel, or where ever waiting may occur.
- Meant for kids 3-15
- Something cool, that other kids are going to want.
Adults:
- Artists can use it to carry artwork supplies, like pencils, markers, paper, ink, erasers stencils and more.
- Comic Collectors can use it to stash comics they find at Comic Cons
- You can also use it to store some of that loot up for grab at Comic Con’s as well.
- It’s a conversation piece, and I think everyone is going to be asking you, where you got it!
- It’s Collectible
So where can you get the Batman VRUM like the one I got above, grab yours here, from Amazon for only $49.99 and get Free Super Saver Shipping as well, that is one heck of a deal, and again, think of the conversations it will start!
There are other styles as well, like the one’s below, and you can grab each one of those by clicking on it’s picture.
So here is my thoughts, if you have seen it, and thought about getting it, do it, certain ones may go before others. If you haven’t see it, and you are wondering, then don’t, get it now as there are some that may go before others. So whether you are a kid, a geek, a comic book collector, an artist, or just a collector. Definitely a must have.

The Batmam VRUM is eye-catching and I know several kids who would love it, and also the TMNTs…plus their parents would be happy to keep them busy as you suggested, while waiting, waiting, waiting at airports, or even at older siblings’ events (like soccer practice and games). Bonus that it has storage area. Too bad my kids are too big!

What a great item to have when traveling with children! I use to take public transportation quite often with my children and I could have used the storage compartment for storing business papers, then utilized the toy to entertain my children if I was at a meeting.

This is the first I have seen of these but I love them. Especially Spider Man! I could totally see this in my son’s game room to store gaming supplies.

I tried looking, I couldn’t find a direct number, it does say age 3 to 15 although I think 15 would be a little big, I think 3-7 would really be max. Otherwise using it as a suitcase is the other option for older kids. ~Tom
