I have always loved martial arts based adventure movies as they always bring the best in fight scene choreography and stunts to big film. Growing up I remember the hit classics of Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, and continuing on to Jean Claude Van Damme and Jackie Chan.
This is no different from Hong Kong superstar Donnie Yen as he brings his own style of action and techniques to this awesome film. Originally released in 2010 in Hong Kong it is available today September 2nd, here in the USA on DVD and BLU-RAY.
I am not one for giving away huge plot lines, and stories, but I can tell you, that with a traitor in the mix, and betrayal around the corner, someone has to stop all of that right? Bringing harmony back to the land, and the Emperor back in power, is what the focus of this hero’s mindset is.

So if you love traditional plot driven Martial Arts movies, then this one is for you. It is Rated R for violence and blood spilled scenes, it is in Mandarin with English Subtitles. Synopsis of the movie:
Qinglong (action icon Donnie Yen) is a legendary royal guard-trained in a clandestine form of combat from childhood in order to devote his life and lethal prowess to the service of the Emperor. When the Imperial Court is taken over by an evil traitor, Jia (Law Kar-Ying), and betrayal lurks at every corner, Qinglong finds himself hunted by those he once trusted. Now as the most wanted man in the land, he must seek out and rally the loyalists to rise against Jia and restore the Emperor to his rightful place!
