I remember growing up, I think as boys we all couldn’t wait til the day that we could put on after shave, before or after shaving. For those who didn’t grow facial hair right away, yours included, I think putting it on anyways, we wanted to give the impression that we did have to shave and needed proof.
Old Spice is trying to show young, soon to be men everywhere, that Dad’s are seeing that their “Dadsong” is playing right now. So what is “Dadsong“?, it is the moment either you realized you were growing up, or that your young son is. I know one of the first things my mom bought me growing up was Old Spice Aftershave, and to this day I think back to how grown up that made me feel.
With the Holiday’s approaching, giving Old Spice as a gift is easy and can make someone who you care about feel special.
This holiday season, giving the gift of manhood couldn’t be easier with Old Spice Re-fresh Body Spray, featuring the brand’s innovative and first-in-category Re-fresh Technology, which eliminates the need for guys to over-spray or reapply throughout the day. My boys are both getting older, but I have a long time until they are near manhood. Everything about them growing up scares me! From people that might try to hurt them, to being bullied at school (luckily not something we have dealt with yet), to just trying to teach them to be just and honorable and have good morals when the world is trying to teach them the opposite.
Thanks!

I can’t help but remember back when he would stand in the bathroom while I was shaving and he wanted to know why he couldn’t shave too. I had one of those old time “safety” razors that I hadn’t used in years. I gave it to him and would lather him up with the warm shaving dream and let him shave with me. Of course it NEVER had a blade it it but he never knew it. He’d always run to his Mama afterwards and let her feel his “smooth” shave and ask her how good he did. He always thought that he did a better job at shaving than Dad did. God how I miss those days.
Jerry Cartwright says
As a matter of fact yes I do have a son on the cusp of manhood. The part that scares the hell out of me most is that he’s been a dating a girl for almost two years now. They have been getting serious. He caught me outside the other day and says’ “Dad. I want to ask you something.” I said, “What son??” he asks, “How long did you and Mom date before you asked her to marry you??” I didn’t show it but I almost had a freakin heart attack. He still lives with us, is going to college part time and has a temporary job. OMG!! He says that he’s thinking of asking her sometimes around December. I told him that they weren’t ready for Christ’s sake. THAT’S WHAT SCARES ME MOST!!!
