There are times when all of us want to be prepared for any emergency that might arise. Whether it is in our professional life like me being a Paramedic, or in an everyday drive where you might get into an accident, and need a quick way out of a vehicle, having a device like this can come in handy when you need it.
I was given an opportunity to take a look at and get my hands on a UZI Tactical Glassbreaker Pen manufactured by the fine folks over at CampCo Inc. for the purpose of this review. So what does a tactical pen like this offer you? a couple of things like:
- Piece of Mind and being ready to extricate someone through the Window with the Glassbreaker option of the pen.
- An implement to use for self defense, believe it or not being able to grip on to this easily allows you to use it to defend yourself, or help escape long enough to run away.
- Keeping a hold of it, with the grooved grips even in the worst of weather.
- Durability, made of Aircraft Grade Aluminum it is meant to take a beating or two, and with the ink cartridges being refillable, this should last you through a career or so.
It also features a sturdy and well designed Pocket Clip, no matter if you use it in your front shirt pocket, or your front pants pocket, or in your BDU Cargo Pants for Duty. For those who want to have it in their car/truck/suv it would fit perfectly in the visor or your glove box. Refills are easy since it takes Standard and Fisher Space Pen Refills.
CampCo designs different models of these tactical pens as well, and you should definitely check out some of the other models here, you can also find out more information about them on their Facebook Page here. You can pick up this particular model I just reviewed over at Amazon, by grabbing yours here for $15.84, a very reasonable investment into something that might save someones life one day including your own, and think about it, you would have a pen to write about it afterwards!
Want to save 10% off your purchases of these or any of the products that UZI.com offers? Type in the code: AMW2014 during checkout to receive your discount!
