There our things in our lives that we just don’t readily share about ourselves to everyone. Sometimes this is for privacy reasons, or that we might be embarrassed by what people think, maybe because it is something that just does not come up very often. No matter the reason, sometimes we just don’t share. Well today, I am going rogue, and I am going to share 5 things about myself that are pretty scarcely known, or shared for the very first time.
- I cry every time I hear the Christmas Song “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”….believe it or not, not til I was older did this happen. When then? After an episode of ER from NBC. Not sure what it was about the episode or the song, but it just hit me weird. So now every time I hear it , I cry.
- I am a very good Chess player. I have been playing ever since a childhood friend taught me to play back when I was 8. I have played in High School, was in the Chess Club, and also on the Chess Team at Cleveland Central Catholic. I have played some tournaments in the Army, and I have beaten many a computer AI.
- I plan to write a book. I have a couple thoughts of subjects in mind, not sure about which one, but it is something I want and plan to do.
- I always wanted to get into a big bar fight. Part of me wanted to know if I had it in me to hold my own, part of me wanted to know if I had the strength to take down someone twice my size.
- Rain. I love the rain. I actually love Thunder and Lightning. Okay, one step further, I love weather in general. I would be a storm chaser if I could. I have been through some of the worst weather situations throughout my life growing up including a mud slide in West Virginia when I was a kid, to almost being struck my lightning, surviving storms in South Korea, and going through a Hurricane while stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.
