I have been fortunate here at A Medic’s World, with the opportunity to review some amazing products, but sometimes there is one that is fun and practical and this one fits that case. So let’s check out the Box4Blox made to help sort Lego Bricks, or Blocks from other sets as well.
Okay, a couple of facts about me and my wife Michelle. Although we do not have any kids, we do own quite a large selection of Lego Sets, like which ones do you ask? Well let me show you a few of our favorites below.
We leave quite a few sets intact, especially the ones found below. Why? because they are as much of an art piece as they are a set of construction blocks. So what do we do with the rest? Well, we usually just take them apart and throw them into a giant storage bin.
Now I think we are going to go a different route next time around, and start using the Box4Blox sorter and sorting our bricks in a more organized manner. So how can this happen, keep reading below and find out.
The Box4Blox takes organizing your Lego blocks to a new level. Easy to use, start by placing a good amount of blocks in the top part of the box. Put the lid back on, and shake. Yes, folks its that easy. Shaking back and forth vigorously will cause the smallest of bricks to fall to the very bottom. The next size stays in the third compartment, the size up from that in the second one, and of course the biggest ones in the top.
If you have other organizational tools like Lego Storage Shelf units, or even multi-drawer storage bins, you will find sorting them will be so much easier now, and save you time, especially when you go to build something new again.
Check out the You Tube Video I made below, and the other pictures that follow it.
As you can see in the above pictures, we started with a bin of random bricks. I sorted them using the technique I showed in the video, and as you can see the bricks sorted into the appropriate trays based on size.
This would be perfect for the family that likes to build together, or the kid that has an imagination with the reach of a rocket that they want to build. I love the concept, love the design, and think that every family of any size would benefit from this fantastic product.
