Hinderer Rescue Knife by Gerber Gear
$114.99 or Less ($57.35 on Amazon)I was an EMT/Paramedic for 23 years, and officially still am as I re-certify to State Standards every 3 years. Prior to this time, I never came across a rescue knife I really liked til now. You might remember, or if you didn’t, you can check out my review of the MP-600 Multi-tool from Gerber Gear that I did as well, check that review out here. The Hinderer Rescue Knife steps up to give the Rescuer a product that functions the way it needs to, in the situation you need it to perform in.
This rescue knife was designed from the mind of a Fire Fighter. It has everything you would need in a tool, built in.
- Slide-Up Seat Belt Cutter
- Serrated Blade
- Built-in Window Punch
- 02 / Oxygen Tank Key recessed into body of knife
- Attached Clip for easy fastening to your belt
I love the way it feels in my hand also, it feels comfortable, and easy to use. This is definitely an item you might want to have on your tool belt if you are a Fire Fighter or EMT/Paramedic. This would also make an excellent gift idea for that loved one who works in one of these fields, or just splurge and buy it for yourself!
