I am ready for my trip to Outer Space with this Phone: I am so ready for the app that will allow me to click it and let me “energize” right onto a Space Ship. Will this probably happen in my lifetime? No. But I can prep my new LG G4 Smartphone just in case.
I love technology, we just get along. Ever since I was a kid taking apart radios and pong machines to figure out how they worked. So it is a no-brainer when I say I love when I get a new phone, to see all the wonderful and amazing things I can do with it.
So let’s break down some of the best parts of this new phone below in different sections.
Camera
The LG G4 has a f/1.8 aperture for impressive performance in low light situations which comes in handy especially when using the manual mode to capture photos. The Manual mode has 15 settings and over 135 options for photo enthusiast level control over how photos are captured. I am still learning everything this Camera can do on this phone. Improved Laser Auto Focus so you’re always ready to capture the moment. 16MP rear facing camera and an 8MP front facing camera for high quality photos and selfies and with the Improved Optical Image Stabilization it helps steady the shot for sharp, focused images. In addition to capturing the shot in the normal .jpg format, you can set it to capture it in RAW Mode which will give you the clearest, and most accurate rendering of the picture. Makes it perfect for apps like Adobe Photoshop. Let’s check out a couple of photo’s below of the difference, and change in lighting from Auto Mode to Manual Mode. On the left is Auto, and on the right is Manual. In the Manual Mode I was able to adjust the ISO Speed to take a photo at a different speed that adjusted the lighting. With all the modes and options, it will take time to learn about them all.

Display and Design – Cutting edge 5.5” IPS Quantum Display for an outstanding visual experience. I personally love the larger screen size. I know they are not for everyone, but to me they allow me to see more of what I am doing, and to enjoy the experience in a larger fashion. 25% brighter display for an enhanced viewing experience in various lighting conditions which is important whether you are trying to watch a movie with the sun in your eyes, or capture that perfect picture. Quad HD resolution with 538 PPI for incredible detail. This screen is crisp and clear. Easy to see everything! With choices like Genuine leather, metallic or ceramic style back covers, you get the ability to personalize it how you wish. It is also designed to fit in the palm of your hand with a gentle curved design for ergonomic comfort.
It can be upgrade to 2TB of memory with optional Micro SD Cards. You can check out some of the pictures below of the screenshot grabs I took, to show you some of the apps and widgets, along with how crisp and clean the screen is.
Overall impression? I love it. Again, I am partial to new technology, but as unbiased as I can be, I simply love it. With the large screen size, the functions in the camera, being able to support up to a 2TB SD Card for storage, and that it has the latest 5.1 Lollipop Android OS installed, it is an out of this world phone, ready for the next generation.

I have the G3, would love this one just for the camera! 😛 The buttons on the back part drives me nutz though! Did you find it hard to knock to wake sometimes? I have a Trident case on my 3 and it seems to make it extra sleepy 😛

Hi Elizabeth, I still have to get a new case for it, so I haven’t had that problem yet. I am still getting use to the buttons on the back, but otherwise, I think this phone rocks! Thanks so much for your comment, and have a great day! ~Tom
