Germs are everywhere. It has been proven that your our cellphone is one of the dirtiest things that you touch on a daily basis. So is there a solution to get rid of the germs? With PhoneSoap, they think so.
I had a chance to review the PhoneSoap and I wanted to share what I found. It has been found that a cellphone has 18 times more bacteria than a public restroom. I don’t know about you, but that is one scary statistic. We all wash our hands (at least I hope we do), but what about our cellphones? And you can’t say that you haven’t used your cellphone while you were in the restroom, whether it be public or at home. So can you imagine what is on that thing? I don’t want to, so let’s move on.
There is a lot of technical information here, but I am going to try and break it down as best I can. There are 3 wavelengths of UV light. UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C. Okay, now that I have shared that, it is the the UV-C wavelength from the Sun that helps kill bacterial germs and micro-organisms and breaks them down. So why can’t we just leave our phone out in the sun? Good question! Because the UV-C wavelength even though it is coming from our sun, can’t normally get through our atmosphere. So that is where PhoneSoap can take over and reproduce those UV-C rays in this wonderful gadget, and use the power of that ray to break down germs and micro-organisms on your phone.
It was easy to use. Plug it in, place your phone inside the case, close it, and it will automatically start to run. The blue light in the picture lets you know that it is working, and getting rid of all those germs we don’t need in our lives. It has options for charging your phone or device while it is working as well. For the purpose of this review, it was charging my Android based USB connector phone. It has a charging cord for iOS devices as well. My LG G4 had a tight fit, but it did fit. The PhoneSoap 2.0 now fits larger phones as well. I was provided with the original PhoneSoap for this review.
So does it work? I believe that it does. Why do I say that? because I have to trust that it does. Unless you have some petri dishes laying around, an incubator, some swabs, and your own high powered microscope, you have to trust that it does. I don’t have any of those laying around, so I have to have some belief that it is working.

I think this would make a great gift idea for any family wanting to cut down germs and helping find ways to keep everyone from getting sick. Would also make a great gift idea for those who are obsessed with keeping everything clean and germ free. Also, maybe a gift idea for a tech person who has almost everything.
So are you obsessed about germs? What do you think about PhoneSoap? Is it something you think you might want in your household? Let me know below. ~Tom
