I am proud to say that I worked for Cleveland EMS from 1997-2002. I wish it could have been longer, but back then circumstances and city residency requirements kept me from doing so. So what is so special about today?
40 Years Ago, Cleveland EMS went on its first Emergency Call!
I can’t imagine what it would have been like back then, but I can assure you that the first people who pioneered EMS in Cleveland, Ohio will never be forgotten. I was honored to work there, and want to personally thank all of those that came before me, those that are still there, and those that came after me. I salute all of you.
So when you think about those who respond to your emergencies, just know that they are dedicated individuals who are there because they want to help you, and make sure you come out of what ever is happening okay.
