ZUS Vehicle Locator and Charger
$35.99The ZUS has to be one of my Top 10 Gadgets I have had a chance to review so far here at Tom’s Take On Things. It is a practical, and innovative gadget that will not only help you locate your vehicle, but allow you to charge two devices via a usb cable all in something that plugs into your 12 Volt Outlet in your vehicle.
It really looks like something you would find in an experimental spacecraft or an UFO. Don’t let the look of it deceive you, it is built quite well. It has a feel of quality to it that I have not seen in normal USB Car Chargers that do not find your vehicle too.
Check out the video of it in use below, it really does explain a lot to how it works, then check out some of my screenshots from my phone, of different things you will see while it is in action.
I love the fact that it uses Bluetooth, instead of WiFi. ZUS uses GPS to help you get back to your vehicle. One thing to keep in mind, and even the company brings it up, is that this may not be as effective in a parking garage, as it will in open spaces. While this does not hurt the overall value of this gadget, you may have some resistance if using it indoors.
As you can see in the screenshots from my LG G4 phone below it connected in under 2 minutes. After initialized, it was ready to go and by the other screen shots you can see how close I was or not to my vehicle.
With it’s sleek look, it’s effectiveness to charge two devices at once, and that it can help you locate your vehicle, this is truly one of those gadgets you want in your vehicle, and the vehicles of your families and friends. The company sells them in multi-packs so getting more than one might be exactly what you need.
Do you think this is something you would like for your Car, SUV or Truck? Who would you give this to, if you could gift one? How cool do you think this is?
