Not trying to date myself here, but I remember a time when you had to turn dials on a TV to get to the station that you wanted to watch. In addition to that, if you passed the station you were wanting to watch on the UHF dial, you couldn’t go backwards, you had to turn it all the way around to the number you wanted, that was alot of clicks back then.
Then the 3 button remote control came along and you had a button for power, a button for the channel, and a button for sound. That was a technological break through back then, and every child’s dream of not having to actually be the remote control anymore.
Fast forward, and we have the ZTE SPRO 2 to be thankful for, to benefit our entertainment needs. This is one very cool and geeky device. I have seen projectors before, many of them that are used at home are bulky and not easily transportable. I have seen others for business, that don’t seem to give you the flexibility that this one does, and does not match the features that this portable smart projector fulfills in such a small format.

3 Reasons the ZTE SPRO 2 is a perfect addition to your household
Business
Most people have seen portable projectors being used in business for some years now, and the ZTE SPRO 2 steps up in this department as well. With this projector having a built in battery, there are no need for power cords. This is especially helpful if you are running on a tight schedule, just turn it on at go. Have your material on a USB Flash Drive, no problem. What about on a Micro SD card, you guessed it, you are set to go. What about wireless? Using it from your computer, phone, or via the on screen 5 inch Android based touch screen, means your presentation can be a success, and you are one step away from that promotion.
Entertainment
This is one of the things that got me excited the most. I have always dreamed of owning an outside screen to be able to display movies on. They sell those ones that can inflate, and I have plans to maybe get one so I can use this outdoors and have a family and friends movie night outside, popcorn and drinks included of course. With a maximum view-able screen size of 120 inches, and a maximum projection range of 12.1′ it will surely fit the needs of any entertainment night, whether outside, or projected on the wall at home in the living room.
Gaming
Until I started looking at the device more, and reading all that it could do, I never imagined using it for gaming, After more research, and tinkering around with it, this is the ultimate device to have for gaming outside on a big projector screen, or maybe just a large wall in the living room, maybe on the wall in the room of a dorm for a College student. This projector has a HDMI port built it. Easily connect your favorite game system and away you go. Since it is running off of Android 4.4 you can use it to play your favorite android based games either wirelessly or connected through the USB port on your computer.
The 6300mAh battery gives you up to 2.5 hours of projection time. Obviously with it plugged in, you get as much time as you need! I love the storage bag that comes with it, and at only 1.26 pounds this is easy to carry with you, where ever you need it to go.
Let’s review some of the top features:
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity
- 20″ – 120″ Viewable screen size
- Dual JBL speakers
- HDMI output and USB port
I never dreamed I would own one of these for our household. I am not being biased here, but I am fortunate enough to say I am thankful I am a reviewer and had the opportunity to share my thoughts about this fantastic gadget with all of you.
