Okay, I love collecting things. I have to admit, I own a few collections of things like die-cast ambulances, certain action figures, sketch card art, and giraffes (shhh…don’t tell anyone).
Then I saw this item that is coming out from Hasbro, and said to myself, how am I going to get one of these? I would love to find a way to get one to review here on Tom’s Take On Things from Hasbro, and if you see this, contact me, I am interested.
So what is it? Just a life sized edition of Captain America’s shield, that is all. OMG! seriously, this thing looks awesome, and I have to find a way to get one.
Now I know what you are thinking. Does Tom want to become a superhero?, well of course I do, but it won’t be with this though. I do want this as a collectible, as I think this would look amazing in a game room, basement, or in the hallway of your home.
This would also be great for those into Cosplay, Role Play, or someone who wants something cool to have for Halloween.

I wish they were really knife and bullet proof lol..
My nephews would love this…but they would tear it up in less than a day, lol. (Trust me. I know these boys.) So, at $299, they will not get it.

I didn’t know Hasbro made things like this but my first thought was for an awesome Halloween costume (with your money to burn I guess!) I do love Captain America though, over the augmented superheroes we have today! It’s fun to see what they have out there to collect.
I can see my nephews having a great time with this Given that it is $299 they wouldn’t be handling it all that often.
At $299 it should be bullet proof lol. Very cool though seriously – I can see there being a market for such a realistic piece. Would be cool just hanging on a wall in a basement or “man cave”. The leather straps on the back are a really nice detail too. Definitely takes it up a notch.
