Have you ever won a big “J”ackpot?  Nothing mind altering.  I have won quite a few things over the decade plus that I started dedicating myself to a hobby that if you work at it some can net you some pretty amazing things.   My latest win, and my biggest was from the Little Debbie Summer Freeze Giveaway, I had the opportunity to choose a side by side refrigerator and 6 months of little debbie snacks, or $1500 in Visa Gift Cards, I chose the $1500.  Now when you get an affidavit delivered to you stating you are the winner via Fed Ex, it is one of the most exhilarating feelings in the world! 

So what does it take to win?  the phrase I tell everyone I know, is that “you can’t win if you don’t enter!”.  Now I do enter my fair share of contests and giveaways, putting some work into it is half the battle.  The other half, don’t get impatient when the wins don’t start coming in, or they are far and few between, remember there are thousands to up to hundreds of thousands of people entering sometimes to win.  But it just takes an entry sometimes to win, and that won’t happen if you don’t enter, the above giveaway I mentioned above was open to the US and Canada, that’s allot of people, did I think I would the single (1) Grand Prize they were giving away, no..actually I was thinking I would end up winning one of the 24 branded collapsible coolers, but alas, I won the big one in this case.

Where can you get started?  If you search in google for contests/giveaways you will find places to enter, or pages for ones going on, if you want to go where I go, and find not just a place that lists the giveaways, but an entire community of people who talk about life, local events, and everything in between, then head on over to online-sweepstakes.com and find a place that will help you organize and make it easier to find those contests/giveaways for you to win.  If you ever have any questions my screen name over there is (medictom).  Just look me up and ask for help.
