The holidays wouldn’t be complete without getting a chance to watch A Christmas Story. It is such a classic tale of a young boy just doing his best to get what he wants for Christmas, while getting into a little trouble along the way. With versions of Monopoly and Yahtzee now based on this iconic movie, you too can have a little Christmas Magic year round when you play. USAopoly graciously supplied me with versions of both to do this review with, opinions are my own.
We love games here in our household, and have quite a few of them. Also my wife is a really big fan of the movie, and loves everything about it. We had an opportunity to visit a wonderful place about 15 minutes from our house called Castle Noel in Medina, Ohio. They have a scaled replica of the slide that Ralphie slid down in the store after visiting with Santa. In addition to that, about 20 minutes away, we have the Original A Christmas Story House near Downtown Cleveland, they are also open year round, and have a museum as well.
So if you have seen the movie, you know the plot, if not search your cable box, find it and watch it right now. Monopoly features the 6 Collectible Tokens: Fragile Crate, Ralphie’s Bunny Suit, Leg Lamp, Bar of Soap, Broken Glasses, and the Old Man’s Car that were all part of the movie.
With locations like the house, the school, and the store all included on the board, the collectible pieces, this should become a time loved game for the whole family to enjoy. Now if you are a diehard collector, no collection would be complete without this, so either way grab your copy of the game here.
A Christmas Story themed Yahtzee comes in a collectible “Fragile” crate. Once housing the magical and coveted Leg Lamp by the Father, it now acts as the container in order to roll the dice, able to store everything inside makes it nice as well.
So grab your friends, or family, and see how many Raphie Bunny Suits you can roll. Perfect gift for the family, or the collector, grab yours here.

Oh I love the Yahtzee game. I wish I knew about this before the big day because I would have gotten it for my husband, he loves A Christmas Story. Thanks for bringing these games to our attention, I think I will pick it up anyway and stow it away for next year.

I love the movie A Christmas Story. I recently saw the sequel to it on tv. It would be fun to play both of these games. I especially like the square crate for the Yahtzee game. It is unique.
