Superhero movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier have stepped up to show that they can contend with any other box office hit.  I was pleasantly surprised when I watched the sequel to the first Captain America movie that came out in 2011.  I saw this on the Starz cable channel.

Without giving away too much of the movie, I think one of my favorite parts of the movie was in the beginning when he was clearing the ship of all the bad guys.  Using his shield like it was meant to be used.  Slinging it off the sides of the top of the ship, down into the deck and back out, just was exciting to see the Captain America, I grew up loving.

Being assisted by The Black Widow, and a new character in the Marvel movies:  Falcon, they take on Hydra to try to keep them from annihilating cities with flying fortresses in the sky.

Bringing back the likes of Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders, you add a special guest appearance by Robert Redford.

Definitely a movie to watch, I will be honest and say I liked it better than the original.  Again, all opinions are mine, and others are encouraged to have their own thoughts.
