I am a firm believer of one thing.  You can never have too many power banks in case there is an emergency.  Tech Armor provides some of the best, and most reviewed mobile power devices out there.

There are several cases where you will need a device like this.

Travel

Having enough power to use your devices, or re-charge them while you are traveling is essential.  I remember last year when I went to a blogger event in San Francisco, if I did not have a power bank device with me, I would have not been able to take all the pictures I took, along with keeping up with social media and posting about events that I covered, and getting to see places like Lucasfilms Main Headquarters.  Whether you travel by Plane, Bus, or Train, having something portable with you to recharge everything is important when an outlet is not available.

Emergencies

What happens when the power goes out? Or if you had to go into the basement or cellar if there was a major storm coming?  Using one of these to get updates and stay in touch with 911, family and friends is easier knowing that you have the ability to recharge your devices.

Business

How many of you work from your phones and tablets everyday?  Many of you are in meetings, or using them for conference calls that continually drain power.  What if you were with a client, and had no way to plug in your device.  With a Power Bank like this from Tech Armor, you can always know you will get the deal or job done.

I was given an opportunity to review the ActivePower 20800mAh PowerBank External Battery from Tech Armor.  They make different sizes, but this is there largest power storage option.

As you can see in the graph above the 20800 mAh sized power bank can be very useful for multiple charges, for multiple devices.   It does have dual usb ports to charge two devices at once, which can be effective for those with a lot of gear, or multiple devices in families.

It took a little under 2 hours to go from 34% to 96% percent with the Power Bank out of the box.  As you can see in the picture below, it came with 3 out of 4 blue circles full of charge, and that is how I conducted the test.   It barely changed the status of the power bank, and it was ready for the next charge.

It’s not the fastest recharge I have seen, but it was effective being that it came out of the box, and it did take it to a complete charge.  Being the capacity that it has, it does have a little weight to it, as others of comparable size do.  This will not easily fit into a small purse, but it does fit in the front pocket of my Dockers quite well.
