I just received notice of losing my 5th Subscriber in 2 days! So I am here writing trying to figure out what am I doing wrong? and what can I do better? So 5 more people gone, and some might think that is not allot, and to some sites that is very true a handful of people leaving will not affect their numbers, but to a site starting out, and one that is trying to grow, five is allot. So to the masses I say! of people who will actually take time to read this post, what are your thoughts? Where have I gone wrong? Finding my niche among the multitude of sites out there is becoming apparent every day. I want to offer more things, I want to offer more reviews, and bring you all things you will enjoy reading about, I also want to bring more giveaways, but to do this I have to stay ahead of the game, and so I ask, if you can just suggest this site to one person, and ask them to do the same, I might be able to find my place, to bring you what is in my head. (I know, scary thought), but there is so much there I just need to find a way to bring it out. So I thank all of you who have been with me, I hope to keep you with me for as long as I can, and without you, I am non-existent here at A Medic’s World. Thank you all for making this place what it is, but I would love to see if you have any ideas of what you would like to see? or do you like to write and think wow, maybe I can get my thoughts out there as well, get a hold of me, its easy, and we can talk!

People unsubscribe to my blog every time I put out a new post, but I’m over it. I notice that when I have a slew of giveaways I have more people subscribe than when I don’t have giveaways. If I let it get to me, I would be a slave to my blog, but I choose to make my blog something that I enjoy and post those things that are interesting to me in the time that I have, which is sometimes not a lot!
Slowly I am getting over it, and in my last few posts, I am making my blog what I want it to be, and hope the people that come are the ones that want to…thanks for your kinds words and thoughts, it is much appreciated!
It seems as though I’m loosing a few every day. And, it just started happening this past week. Not sure what’s going on. Sometimes I think ppl will follow your blog just to earn extra entries into a giveaway. And then when it’s over, they stop following. Just my 2 cents 🙂 I’m still a follower, Tom!

I have a ton of visits… I advertise on fb, twitter, pinterest, etc.. could it be, because of feedburner? I heard some blogger’s are losing their followers, so maybe that is it? I don’t know…but I will add your button to my blog and hope it gets you more followers 😀

This is a common issue amongst bloggers (so I’m told, I don’t have enough subscribers to lose five YET).
Myself, as an example, will sign up for a blog in a bunch of different styles – FB, Twitter, RSS feed and Email. After a little while, it becomes overwhelming and I determine that I only want to read this person’s blog in one style. Then I unsubscribe to the rest. They haven’t lost me as a reader, but I don’t follow them in every medium.
I wouldn’t take it personally. There are so many factors for why people unsubscribe, where you did nothing wrong, just keep honing your niche and you find your audience.
