One thing that is the simplest way to bring joy to someone’s heart, whether it be a child or an adult, is say look there a falling star, make a wish! When is the last time you have wished upon a star? Was it by yourself or with someone? I think throughout my life I have wish on maybe 10-12 stars that I have seen falling, some with others, but mostly by myself. Have any of my wishes come true?, well one did, meeting someone that would love me like no other, my wife Michelle, so 1 out of 12 is better than none huh??
Sometimes in the life that we lead we forget the simple things, we forget what it is like to feel inside when we wish or hope for something. My wife about 5 years ago, bought me one of those packages where you register to get your own star, you name it, they send you a star map with where your star is, and to this day I think how wonderful of a gift that was, how special it is for what it meant, a chance to dream and wish upon your own star, you kinda hope it doesn’t fall obviously, but if it did, maybe someone’s wish would come true, you never know!
You too can Give the present that nobody has! Give a Star. and help bring a smile to someone’s face. It makes the perfect gift for someone’s Birthday, and with Christmas coming up, would be the greatest thing to open up, and see someone’s amazement.
Based on the package that you choose, you can choose to have a dog-tag like pendant in either silver or gold plate, and either in a necklace or key chain form. It will have the name of your Star engraved on it, with exact coordinates of where your star is! When I got my package 5 years ago, mine never had any of this, so this is truly a nice personalized touch. So make wishing up on your own star a reality, you can order your star by clicking here Dedicate a Star To Someone You Love.

I love to look at the stars with my kids. To see their faces light up when they find constellations or make their own pics in them. Sometimes we get so caught up in the day to day chaos that we forget to enjoy the beauty God created all around us. Thanks for the reminder. Have a blessed day.

The last time I wished on a falling star would of been the last time I went camping, which was several years ago. Dedicating a star to someone you love, is a very unique gift idea, a little pricey though. Maybe split the cost between the kids, and give one to a grandparent … hhmmm, now that might work! Thank you for sharing this idea! 😀

Wow. I haven’t wished on a star in a long time. I used to wish on the first star I saw at night. I’m sure everyone has heard the saying but I would say the whole thing: “Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight”. Over the years the wishes have changed. Before meeting Tom the wishes were for a great man to share my life with. Wishes do come true. After Tom I know what some of the wishes were, but I can’t tell them as not all have come true yet.
Thanks for reminding me of the simplicity of wishing on a star. I’m going to start doing this again…that is if it ever stops raining and I can see the stars again.
