I love collecting Sketch and Art Cards. What are they? They are about the size of a baseball card, and can contain anything from a printed image, to a painted or sketched piece of art. I collect them because each one is an individual piece of art, that portrays the characteristics of the artist making it. I have collected cards with comic related images, cartoons, movies, landscapes, space related, you name it there are thousands of cards you can collect. The featured artist of this post is Kitty-Lydia Dye. She was co-winner in my first contest on my Facebook group Collectible Art Cards and ACEO where you will find a collection of Artists and Collectors who love creating art in small sizes.
Kitty-Lydia Dye has worked on different collectible card sets such as the Unstoppable Cards Fantasy Art Set and War of the Worlds for Cult-Stuff. She also sells cards through eBay as well and you can find her listings here. You can keep up with her art, and her thoughts on her blog over at The Writer’s Clearing where you will find a mixture of postings of sets she is working on, and cards she has done for sale.
I am sharing some examples of her art below. You can get a hold of her through her eBay page, or on her Facebook page here.
