Just wanted to take time today and wish the U.S. Army a fantastic Happy Birthday! on today’s date, June 14th, in 1775, the U.S. Army was officially started. Since that day, the Army has done what its core mission was created to do, protect the United States from threats and harm. I am a proud Veteran who is thankful for what the Army has given me, giving me strength, determination, and the will power to get through life, and conquer it. I served in Desert Storm/Desert Shield as well, and learned that we are a family when we work together, and truly that we are “Army Strong”.
Not that you need a special day to thank anyone, but if you know someone who is in the Army, or who has served, thank them for their service, and be thankful that we are all here because of the sacrifices that others have made in protecting all that we have grown to love and cherish.
