I love collecting art of all kinds, and I love promoting art, and artists as well. This one is for a great cause! Nikki Kunkle, who uses different mediums to create her art, designed and created this one of a kind art piece dedicated to the fallen heroes of the Houston Fire Department. 100% of the sale of this art piece will go to their memorial fund. Firefighters are heroes. All of them, no matter where they serve. In my town we have a volunteer fire department and they are very committed and work very hard at keeping everyone safe.
It is very nice that the money is being donated to the fund. Good luck with the project.

I love it when companies step up and donate to help. It brings awareness to the cause and to their company. People will tend to buy or spend more, knowing they are helping, too. What a great way to get your name out and to help others!
I think this is just wonderful! We have a friend who is a volunteer FF and he just recently was overcome by smoke and passed out in the burning home. Luckily his buddy was nearby and dragged him out. He was only in the hospital overnight and is fine but we need something like this in our area. WTG with this fundraiser!
