Grand Trunk Adjustable Travel Pillow Review

Nothing else can be more frustrating than trying to find a comfortable way to rest your head while you are traveling.  With the Grand Trunk Adjustable Travel Pillow, you don’t have to have that worry anymore and it gives you the portability and affordability you need in a product like this.

So what do you get?  You get the travel pillow and the bag that it fits in, shown in the pictures below.

Getting it out of the storage bag was easy, it has a drawstring to keep it in there, once undone I was able to peel the pillow out of the bag fairly easy.  First thing I noticed about it was how soft it was.  It has a soft poly center that gives it the comfort that it has.  The truly amazing part was how it went from what was in that bag to the following picture!

The Pillow itself also has a drawstring pull…you can release it all the way to have the fully expanded pillow you see, or tighten it as you need to firm the pillow to the comfort level that you are used to.  On the back, of the pillow is a little pouch to tuck the drawstring into so it is just not hanging there.

You can see the size difference comparison in the last picture above.  The pillow becomes a comfortable size that anyone can use.  Just a few places I can think would be on an airline flight, on a long road trip with the family, taking it to the beach with you, or on a camping trip.  Where would you use yours?  Never worry about using a wadded up ball of clothing again as a pillow, that would only get dirty or stained, use this instead, with the water resistant and durable lining that is easy to clean, this would be better to have than clothes you might not be able to replace.

Pros:  Easy to carry, compact, water resistant, easy to keep clean, soft or firm (you make the choice), Machine Washable and Dryer Safe

Cons:  Re-packing the pillow might take some practice.  The first time I tried, it took me a little bit to find the right way to do this.   Finally with pushing the pillow together as much as I could before I tightened the drawstring helped.  Then just finding the right way to roll it from there was the next step, I was eventually able to get it into the bag, and pull the drawstring closed to keep it in.  However if you are using it on a flight and sitting next to someone, I think you would have a hard time trying to repack it till you got off the plane.  I am sure with practice it will get easier, it did not detract from the fact that I love the pillow, just wanted to be honest about the process.
