This is the first time I have had a chance to review a vacuum, and I have to say that I really have enjoyed the process, and need to thank the fine folks over at Shark for the opportunity to review this. I was provided the Shark® Rocket™ Vacuum for the purpose of this review.
The Shark® Rocket™ is their newest offering, and steps up to the plate to offer an economical alternative to other vacuums out there with the same features and abilities. Coming in at just under 8 pounds, this vacuum is the perfect solution to reach all the places that other conventional vacuums fail to go.
As you can see in the pictures below, it is easy to get to the places you need with the attachments provided. You know that dust that can build up on top of the baseboard? With the use of the crevice tool, it easily came off with little effort. Sometimes a pesky spider might leave a web in a corner somewhere, never fear as this can easily reach those and you won’t need to seem them again.
In addition to the accessories, which included the crevice tools, it also included a Dust Away attachment kit. This allows you to attach pads to the bottom of the kit that while the vacuum is getting the larger pieces it is dusting the floor as well. You can see that in the pictures below.
For the purpose of this review, the deluxe tool package was not included with the vacuum, however you can order those accessories from the Shark website for additional ways to get things clean.
You also get the accessory bag and the wall mount. The accessory bag is very nice so that your pieces are not just laying all over the place, and you can carry it with you to have the item you need when you need it. The wall mount is something I recommend you putting up, it will help storing the vacuum much easier.
The breakdown of the Shark® Rocket™ Vacuum?
Pros: No loss of suction, swivel steering, lots of accessories, light weight, easy to use, easy to empty, affordable based on comparable models from competitors
Cons: Will not stand upright on its own (this in no way affects the quality and the function of the vacuum)
Overall, a definite 4 out of 5, and a product I will see great use of around our house for years to come.

I have a small portable Shark vacuum, like a dust buster. It’s extremely loud but has lasted for years. I wish they would die so I could try new/improved ones! The little dust cup is annoying but it works OK. I like their products.

this is just marvelous and something for me especially with all the things it can do with just one vaccum

Sounds awesome. I could really use a vacuum like this one. My shoulders are worn out and pulling around this heavy 30 year old vacuum that we have is almost impossible. Now all you need to do is get them to let you give one away and then we can rig the contest so I could win it. LOL Thanks for an awesome review.

I wish. I did try to get one to give away, the sponsor did not want to at the moment. Maybe they will change their mind!

This looks like a great vacuum. I like the fact that it is light weight and can get into hard to reach places. I have alot of back and leg problems. This looks like it would be great for me
