Disclosure of Material Connection: I received the Survival Creek Emergency Hand Crank Radio/Flashlight for free from Survival Creek as coordinated by Deep Creek Public Relations in consideration for review publication.
I have always enjoyed reviewing emergency and survival related products. Why? Part of me thinks it’s the Paramedic in me, and part of it is being able to test and review products to prepare us for situations that exceed the norm. When I was given the opportunity to review the Survival Creek Emergency Hand Crank Radio/Flashlight for the site, I jumped on board quickly, not only to share with you my thoughts and findings, but to add another item to my growing emergency kit!
I think everyone should have an item like this for their home, boat, car or emergency kit just for the basic fact of how useful it can be. With the fact that it can be charged via a power cable or in the event you have no power, can be hand cranked, makes it essential in that aspect alone.
- Hand Crank for when you run out of stored power, or don’t have an electrical source to charge it.
- 2-different flashlight modes for varied brightness and they are LED lights for long life.
- FM radio to listen for weather reports, or just pick up the local music station to listen to some tunes!
- Durable Hand Strap to keep it close when you need it.
I was pleasantly surprised on the sound level of the radio stations that came in while I was scanning through them. I am sure with a full charge, that the sound and reception would only get better. Overall it feels well put together and ready to stay in one’s emergency kit for years to come.
Check out the Video Review below that I did! Share if you find it useful!
