I was a Paramedic for 23+ years and I can tell you that I saw advancements that benefited emergency care, rescue, and emergency management as a whole. It seems that Artificial Intelligence is the next logical step to these advancements.

I can absolutely see drones helping in emergencies. They could get into areas humans can’t, for one thing. A.I. is like every new technology: whether it is good or bad depends entirely on how we use it.

We’ve had all those disaster here in LA and hoping AI can help with the big one ’cause it’s coming. I think it’s exciting all the changes and benefits we are seeing with AI. I try to keep up with how it can benefit nursing and it can be overwhelming, but as I said, exciting and necessary.

I think AI can be a benefit, but only to a degree. Perhaps when finding someone . Nothing replaces the human touch, or someone telling you everything is going to be OK or holding your hand in times of stress.
