Stargate is and always will be one of my favorite shows of all time. Let’s imagine that it began with a movie, spawned several spinoffs and also ended with a couple of movies to try and wrap a few things up. RockLove Jewelry has some amazing designs and creations like the moving Stargate ring I am reviewing below.
Disclaimer: I paid for the cost of silver to make this ring, I did however get it at a discount for the purpose of this review. All opinions 100% my own, and may differ from yours.
I for one will tell you that I don’t wear that much jewelry. Aside from my wedding ring, I rarely wear any other items till I saw this ring. I use to wear dog tags in the Army and might start wearing those again, but this ring will be the only other addition to items I will wear regularly.
Every piece including the ring I now have in my possession is hand made from start to finish by Allison and her team over at RockLove Jewelry. I really can’t say enough nice things about this ring. This particular ring was available in sizes from 8 to 13. I was fortunate of the larger size due to I feel I have larger hands than most.
Made by hand in solid nickel-free sterling silver, the Stargate Ring is composed of two separate components to allow the chevrons to really spin. Highly detailed on all surfaces, the outer ring has chevrons on both sides of the ring and architectural detailing on top. The inner ring is also double sided and has a set of screen-accurate glyphs based on the show.
Check out the video of it below in action that I recorded for Youtube. Be sure to share it with all your friends and family who would love this as much as I do.
Enjoy some other screenshots of the ring below. Ensure that you check out the detail of the ring, and the excellent work that went into it from Allison over at RockLove Jewelry.
When I reached out to work with RockLove it was very hard to narrow down on one item. They have items from themes like Stargate, Star Trek, Skyrim, and so much more. Their “chess” themed necklaces are a beautiful creation all on their own as well.
I am officially adding this as one of my recommendations for my 2016 Holiday Gift Guide this year. With a wide selection and all the items being hand-made, there is something there for everyone and I implore you to check it out for yourself and make your own decision.
Thanks for checking out the review, this was one of my favorite products to get a chance to experience. I will cherish and love this ring and the symbolism it carries for a Movie and TV Show that I just simply loved.
