Convenience is something we all strive to get in our daily lives. I think we are always searching for ways to get to things we need easier and without all the hassle that can slow you down. UrgentRx helps alleviate some of that by offering easy to carry (credit card sized packets), easy to use, and great tasting and fast-acting medications that we can carry with us anywhere.
We can’t take bottles of antacid, aspirin, tylenol, allergy medication, and carry all of those with us where ever we go. Who has room for all of that? I know my front pockets barely carry my keys, cell phone, and maybe some money. I am not going to carry all of those bottles with me. To go along with that, what woman would give up precious purse space for all those bottles. With the UrgentRx packets, they are small, easy to carry, and are ready when you are. No water needed.
So what makes UrgentRx stand out and be different? The no water thing helps. I am sure we have all been somewhere where we have had a really bad headache, or upset stomach, but nothing to drink to swallow conventional over-the-counter medications that we take today. Just open the packet, pour the powder on your tongue, and in moments it begins to dissolve, and that’s it!
They have six different versions, let’s take a brief look at a couple of them below:
UrgentRx® Headache Relief To-Go
Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains due to:
■ Headache
■ Muscular aches
■ Backache
■ Minor pain of arthritis
■ The common cold
■ Toothache
UrgentRx® Upset Stomach Relief To-Go
Relieves:
■ Diarrhea
■ Upset stomach due to overindulgence in food and drink, including:
■ Heartburn
■ Indigestion
■ Nausea
■ Gas
UrgentRx®Critical Care Aspirin To-Go
Temporarily relieves:
■ Headache
■Toothache
■Pain of colds
■ Muscle pain
The Aspirin To-Go could be especially important in cases of someone who thinks they are having a heart attack. As long as they are not allergic to aspirin, one of the best things you can do before a Paramedic arrives (like me) is to give that person an aspirin to take. The earlier the better. Having it in powder form, and not causing a choking hazard, especially if they are short of breath, definitely comes in handy. So of all the ones they offer, I am particularly fond of the Aspirin Powder one.
So I tried the Upset Stomach packet in Cherry flavor. As you can see in the pictures above, it is very easy to open, and will give you the estimation of how big it is, and how easy it would be to carry with you. It tasted like cherry, no real disappointment there. It did have a slight after-taste but I think that will vary with each individual as we all taste things differently. It dissolved in seconds, and as I am typing this paragraph 15 minutes later, I can honestly say my stomach does feel better, as it was upset when I woke up in the morning.
These are perfect for people on the go, whether you go cycling, hiking, or want to take them with you when you travel, just easy to do, and no bulky bottles to carry. Would be great for first aid kits and emergency bags as well.
I was provided samples from UrgentRx for the purpose of this review, but be sure to visit their website, like them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter. So where can you buy yours? You can buy them at most major drug stores or get them here on Amazon.
So would you use these? Have you used them? Have you seen them in stores near you yet, and were wondering what they were? Well, share your thoughts below, and let me know. ~Tom

There has been so many times where I didn’t have water to take pills. I can see where these would be really convenient. I’d put several in my car for sure.
