I love products like this. I have helped many people stranded in parking lots due to car not starting and having my portable jumper charger with me. I even gave them as gifts to my single friends.
I would like to have this jump starter its in single digits here and they are very handy better than asking for a jump.
I have one almost like this always readily available in the glove compartment of my truck. I also have heavy duty jumper cables in my trunk; best to have heavy duty due to having a truck.
During these frigid winter days I always worry that my car won’t start and there won’t be anyone handy for a jump. This is just the thing every woman needs to keep in the trunk.
This recently happened to my teenage daughter! Her car would not start at the high school. She had been there at an after school activity and most people had left. Fortunately one of her friends was also there, but that might not always be the case. This product could be such a lifesaver!

I love the compact size. I don’t have a lot of trunk space but this would fit in nicely. I’ve also been in the position of trying to get maneuvered into a spot to reach with traditional cables to another car. I love that I can be a good Samaritan and not bump another car in a busy lot.
My father in law has one of these, and we have used it more times than I can count. We so need to get one for ourselves. It really is a life saver.
This sounds like a great jumpstartet. I recently gave away a jump starter that was just horrible. It took forever to jump your car and it was just crappy. I will have to look into this because I need a new one anyway.
my son went bought the big one he was going to use it for the truck he drive and would not jump the semi so he gave it to me and then i use it for the truck i drive and then i keep it in the truck and they help out quick

Yes, we need this! This happened to my daughter. She was at her school and was there later than usual. She went to her car and it wouldn’t start and no one was around to give her a jump. We need this.

This is a great idea for our daughter who now goes to college 6 hours away! My biggest fear is being stranded on the side of the road despite having a roadservice. I’d worry less about our teen driving with this!
I can’t vouch for this one in particular as I haven’t tried it but I will say that having a jumper is a life saver. At some point, you will leave your lights on or just end up with a dead battery. If you are out in the middle of nowhere when this happens, you’ll find the investment well worth it.
My son recently started driving my old SUV. He loving named it “Raul”. Well, Raul likes to let the battery go dead. This seems like a great addition the back compartment, along with the tire tools.
I would love to have this in my trunk. It’s always smart to think ahead before you get stranded.

We use to own a ’69 VW Bug and I got a lot of experience jumping the battery. It would go dead if the lights were left on…every time. Cars of those era had no beeping sound to remind you to turn them off. I sure would of loved to have had this then!
I could so use this because I have a 12 1/2 year old Honda Civic. It’s getting old. 🙁 Soon enough my son will be driving. He could use this as well. It’s great for young people.

After reading this well written review I must have this charger! My car is 16 years old plus i live in MN! The winters are brutal and often times cars won’t start on super cold days. I like that it is compact. It fits anywhere and it works the same as the big jumpstarters.
Everyone should have one of these in their trunk, there is nothing worse than being stranded and it can be deadly if it’s in the middle of winter. My thinking is just forget the ‘what if” afterthoughts. why take chances if you don’t have to?

There is nothing worse than getting stuck with a dead battery after shopping for a cart full of food, especially in hot Florida. This would be great to have and I would have to depend on someone helping me out.

I really like this . I live in MN Sand in an apartment complex . Parking is tight in the winter and pulling up to another dead car is tricky. What a nice way to jump in below 0 temps

Cold climates are hard on car batteries. This would give me peace of mind during the winter months.

I can’t believe it. I just won this exact jump starter. It is really nice. I am happy to have it because my van is a 2002 and I worry about being stranded somewhere with no jumper cables.

While I believe that anyone who drives a car should carry jumper cables with them (and know how to use them), I also realize there are times you need a jump start and you don’t have anyone there with a vehicle to use to make the jump. And, even with an auto club, when things get busy and they have a lot of calls, you can wait hours for someone to come out and give you a jump. This would be a great item to have – especially on long trips when you aren’t near friends and families who can come out and help if needed. Oh, and I adore the Psyduck plush in the photos. Love it!
I’m one of those people that stops to help every stranded motorist in whatever parking lot I’m in, whether it’s at the mall or the grocery store. This nifty little jump starter would make my life a little easier, instead of pulling out the jumper cables from the trunk and popping my hood to attach this here and that there, rinse and repeat!

Not only could I use this to carry in my vehicle for y car but others at work as well. I live in Michigan and we have had many times where myself or others have needed to get a jump because of their battery not kicking over. This sounds great!

Living through a Michigan winter with a small child is a challenge. I feel like have a device like this could LITERALLY be a life saver…… You never know what or who may come across you.
I really like how these have a digital display instead of trying to peer through a little window on your battery to see green or red. Even then, it’s not entirely accurate; digital reading is the only way to go in my opinion. Great review and these are a saver.
I think the JNC318 Jump Starter is great to have on hand. I like that it does not take up a lot of trunk space and it has a preheat mode for jump starting in cold weather.

After getting stuck on a deserted parking lot next to the interstate in Mississippi, we learned our lesson. We now always take one of these with us. It saves you from so much stress and wasted time.

This is a great thing to have when you need a jump. It seems that batteries go dead in the most inconvenient places and at the most inconvenient times.

I really feel this is as necessary in any car as any other item. You wouldn’t drive without a spare tire, right? Or having a good first aid kit in the car. It is terrifying to be stuck with a good jumpstarter (I know from experience!!) and this looks like the best!

This is such a good idea to have especially in cold climates. Batteries that are ‘good’ can need a jump if out in a lot or even at home. Even if you have a battery charger (the big kind) it is sometimes tough to get it through the snow. This would be fantastic.

Wow, I really like that preheat mode for jump starting in frigid temperatures. Having to jump start a car in the middle of winter is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
Every car should have one especially ones with young drivers. Don’t want them stranded in an empty parking lot or garage. Scary to be stuck at night especially if it’s deserted. This makes it quick to get jumped and move on.
Weve had units that quit after only a year or so. This one looks so compact and store easily in a waterproof small storage. WOW, thats a long time to be a paramedic. We have a van that is a 1999 and our daughter that’s a senior has to drive sometimes. a couple times this past summer it died right at an intersection. This is a must for carrying in your car. It’s scary to be stuck with your car not working.
This is definitely a life saver! It can be stressful as well as dangerous to have a battery die away from home or when the weather is bad.Add kids in the car to the mix and there’s really reason to feel anxiety.
Whenever we take a cross country trip we pack a jump starter similar to this. You don’t want to get stuck somewhere.

I always recommend people have not only jump starter cables but, if possible, and actually battery back-up starter. I keep heavy duty jumper cables in my truck but, I even have a battery starter in my glove box.
This is literally 1/5th the size of the jump box/battery jumper I keep in my trunk! WOW. This is something I must buy.

We could have used one of these this past Saturday. We were visiting Chicago. We went into a store and my husband somehow managed to turn on the hazard lights before getting out of the car. I had no idea they can drain a battery so fast, but the car was dead by the time we came out only about 15 minutes later. Put a damper on the day, waiting for AAA. I have a really steep driveway, so unless I back up the driveway there would be no way to jump my battery in the winter. This would be such a great solution. It’s great that it’s so small too. I’m like you and like to be prepared and this looks pretty foolproof, so that’s a big plus.

I could have used one of these several years ago in Northern Indiana. Specifically living in a rural community and having very few neighbors around to help. I missed a few days of work because my car would not start due to frigid temperatures. Gave me an excuse to stay home and clean my house.

This is certainly a lot better than the older jump start boxes. I like the fact this fits nicely in the hand and it doesn’t take up much room. I have a Mini Cooper so I don’t have a lot of room in my hatch for large jump start boxes. I will have to check into this Jump Starter.

Lets face it nobody wants to take the time to help someone jump their car in the parking lot. I love these things. One year my trickle charger fried when I plugged it in and thank goodness my ex had one of those portable jumpers. It saved the day! I wasn’t late for work thank goodness. I loved it so much I gave all the women in my office one for Christmas. They loved having the security in their cars not having to call a tow truck for a jump if they got stranded.
What a great idea! Nothing I hate more than being broke down in a crowded parking lot waiting for the people in the car next to you to come out and bother them for a jump. I would love to have one of these. It’s dangerous for a woman to break down by herself now days.
This device would be very useful in those dead battery situations, which I’ve experienced a few times in the past. I like that it has the 12 volt output for a tire inflator, which would be another useful thing to have.
First of all, I’m a firm believer that anyone who drives a vehicle should have some basic knowledge and equipment. That includes knowing how to change a tire (and have what they need to do that), how to jump start a vehicle (and always have a good set of jumper cables in the vehicle), how to check and top off engine fluids, etc. While we have AAA auto club, there are times you simply can’t – or don’t want to – wait the time it can take for help to come. I’ve helped more people with a jump start than I can count (and it always surprises them that a woman can jump start their vehicle). Anyway, there are times when you can end up with a dead battery (you leave the headlights on, a vehicle door doesn’t get closed all the way and the interior light/s stay on, etc.) and you may not have another driver you can flag down to give you a jump start of the auto club tells you it’s going to be a long wait. Something like this would be great to have in my vehicle!
Just have the Jump Starter Tool in my car would give me peace of mind. Plus it has a flashlight and can charge your electronics using the USB port.
This is the best idea and what I am going to buy for my family for Christmas. There is so many times that one of us gets stuck and our car cant start. It isn’t always easy to get someone to help you. I LOVE this thing! I know my husband would think it is awesome as well.We live in the Midwest, and this is about all we dont have in the car- although one truck we actually do keep an extra battery in for just such an occasion. This would eliminate the need to carry another battery.
Speaking from someone who ha been on the side of the road during a couple of blizzards I can tell you if your battery goes, you could be in for some serious trouble. Even ‘good’ batteries will die when it is -40 below.

This would have been great to have during the height of summer when my daughter’s car wouldn’t start in the Walmart parking lot. I had my grandchildren with me. They were hot and miserable from the heat waiting for my other daughter to come help us because nobody I asked would give me the time of day. It was awful.
I really could have used this a couple of months ago. My battery kept going dead and I had to keep finding someone to give me a jump. Turns out one of the terminals was broken so I got a new one. Sounds like a great product especially for those long cold winters. I live in the northeast and it gets pretty cold have had that problem numerous times then there’s the waiting for someone to come to jump you is ridiculous now with this no more waiting or missed appointments

This is really a must have in any vehicle. My car is notorious for needing a jump and with three grandchildren all under 3, I can’t take any chances on being stranded.
I really wish I would have had this when my battery decided to die on me. I don’t care if you have a new battery or not, you need to have one of these in your car!!! This is a great gift idea! Very cool.

My biggest fear is getting stranded on the side of the road. this would help aleve the fear of being stuck with a car that needs to be jumped. I love that this can be charged and used over and over again!
This would be perfect for me. It sounds easy enough for me to use. I really like you can also charge your phone or tablet with it. Another added bonus is the built in flashlight. Like you, I can find no cons.
I love that it has a built-in flashlight, and can also be used to charge devices via USB or even use 12-Volt accessories like tire inflators! I need this for my car as well as my kiddos vehicles!
I would definitely like something lile this for my daughters. I would worry less about them being stranded somewhere from a dead battery

I do carry jumper cables in my car. But this would be so much easier than finding another car to give me a jump.

This 12-Volt jump starter is absolutely the thing I have been looking for. I have a motorcycle with a 12-volt battery, and the last thing I want is for it not to start as the winter approaches. And the portable dual USB power bank for charging electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and more will also be a great help if I find myself stranded in the snow or rain.And the built-in flashlight with SOS feature is a marvel.

OH this is SUCH a handy item to have!! I may be pretty guilty of leaving lights on and killing my battery more than once or twice lol!
